Services Delivered

  • Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
  • Project Objectives

The primary goal was to reinstate fire compartmentation around new electrical penetrations throughout the station - ensuring cable routes were sealed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. Works needed to be completed without disrupting station operations or compromising public safety.

    Our Approach

Following a detailed survey, we collaborated closely with the principal contractor to sequence works alongside the electrical upgrade programme. Our team worked flexibly to access live areas safely, applying approved fire-stopping systems to cable penetrations across public spaces, platforms, and tunnel sections. Detailed tracking and quality checks ensured compliance at every stage.

    Key Outcomes

Element Fire delivered fully compliant fire-stopping across all affected areas, enabling the successful upgrade of the station’s electrical infrastructure. The project enhanced fire safety for both the public and station staff, with all works completed in a live, high-traffic environment.

    Ongoing Support

We continue to support the station through annual inspections of all fire-stopping work - helping ensure long-term compliance and safe operation across one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs.
