  • Project Objectives

The primary objective was to bring the facility up to a fire safety standard acceptable to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). This required a full review and overhaul of the site’s fire protection systems, including active and passive measures, to meet regulatory expectations and support the factory's return to full operation.

    Our Approach

Following a detailed site survey, we collaborated with the client to prioritise key areas requiring attention. This included the replacement and upgrade of fire doors, the installation of a new alarm and heat detection system with updated call points, and the addition of emergency lighting and compliant exit signage. All works were carried out while minimising disruption to the site and adhering to strict HSE oversight.

    Key Outcomes

The site was brought up to full compliance with all necessary fire safety standards, enabling the HSE to approve the reinstatement of operations. The client now benefits from a safer working environment supported by robust fire protection systems.

    Ongoing Support

Element Fire will carry out annual inspections and servicing of all installed systems to ensure continued compliance and identify any potential risks before they develop.
