Services Delivered

  • Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
  • Project Objectives

The primary objective was to ensure full alignment with the building's fire strategy. This required bringing older works up to standard while protecting newly installed services that breached fire-resisting elements of the structure. The overall aim was to deliver a compliant and safe working environment for future occupants.

    Our Approach

Our involvement began with a full on-site survey to assess the condition of existing fire-stopping installations. Once identified, we carefully planned remedial work to upgrade compromised areas and then coordinated with other contractors to install compliant fire protection around newly created service penetrations. Work was scheduled in phases to minimise disruption and ensure seamless integration with the wider renovation programme.

    Key Outcomes

We delivered a fully compliant passive fire protection package that matched the client’s fire strategy and met all required fire resistance ratings. The result was a modern, renovated commercial building where occupants can work safely and confidently, knowing that the compartmentation is secure and up to standard.

    Ongoing Support

Element Fire will carry out annual inspections of all installed systems to ensure continued compliance and identify any wear or damage. This proactive approach helps the client maintain long-term safety without disruption to daily operations.
